StealthASF as a ScraperAPI alternative

Hard targets are where a scraping budget goes. This comparison uses StealthASF protected mode at 25 base credits and ScraperAPI ultra premium proxies with JavaScript rendering at 75 credits per request, the ScraperAPI level meant for really tough target websites.

Calculation: monthly price × credits per request ÷ included credits. These are rounded, amortised base costs assuming the full allowance is used on that request type, not pay-as-you-go prices or measured success rates. Plan levels are different sizes.

For StealthASF, these figures assume no more than 1 MB of transfer per protected request and no solved CAPTCHA. Additional bandwidth and solved CAPTCHAs cost credits. Vendor add-ons and taxes are excluded. Compare the credits actually spent for your workload before choosing.

Why switch to StealthASF

A protected page costs 25 credits instead of 75, and the plan behind those credits starts at USD 17 instead of USD 49. On the entry plans that makes a protected request about six times cheaper. Plain pages are cheaper too: auto mode sends a plain request first, charges 1 credit when that works, and steps up to protected mode only when the site blocks. Blocked requests are never charged.

When a site loads its data from its own JSON endpoint, StealthASF can find that endpoint and hand you the structured data instead of HTML to parse. You can pay in EUR or USD, by card or crypto, and top up with one-time credit packs that stay valid for 12 months.

See StealthASF pricing and the PerimeterX guide for a first protected request.
