StealthASF as a Crawlbase alternative
StealthASF fetches standard pages for less and starts on a smaller monthly plan. This comparison uses a standard page that needs no rendering or protection: 1 credit on StealthASF and 1 credit on the Crawlbase Crawling API, priced through each provider's monthly plans.
| Feature | StealthASF | Crawlbase |
|---|---|---|
| Standard page | 1 credit: $0.24 on Hobby, $0.20 on Pro, $0.17 on Scale per 1,000 | 1 credit: Starter USD 99 for 200,000 credits, about $0.50 per 1,000 |
| Smallest monthly plan | Hobby: EUR 15 / USD 17 for 70,000 credits | Starter: USD 99 for 200,000 credits |
| What sets the price | The mode you choose: 1, 5, 25 or 50 base credits, same on every site | A site difficulty multiplier from ×1 to ×20, applied automatically, and ×2 for JavaScript rendering |
StealthASF figures are base costs for a plain request with a response under 1 MB and no country targeting, assuming the full monthly allowance is used on that request type. Vendor add-ons and taxes are excluded.
Why switch to StealthASF
A standard page costs about half as much on StealthASF Hobby as on Crawlbase Starter, and the plan itself costs USD 17 instead of USD 99. Every mode has one published base rate that is the same on every site: 1 credit for a plain request, 5 for JavaScript rendering, 25 for protected mode and 50 for Ultra, our strongest mode. Auto mode starts with a plain request and steps up to protected mode only when a site blocks, and blocked requests are never charged.
When a site loads its data from its own JSON endpoint, StealthASF can find that endpoint and hand you the structured data instead of HTML to parse. You can pay in EUR or USD, by card or crypto, and add one-time credit packs that stay valid for 12 months.
